We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper to oversee the company’s financial operations for multiple construction projects. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient cash flow management across complex construction environments
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Oversight: Manage all financial transactions, including bank and credit card reconciliations and accounts payable processing,
• Project Financial Management: Work closely with CFO and project managers to track budgets and change orders; assist in cash flow draw processing
• Data Entry & Recordkeeping: Entering, verifying and maintaining accurate financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks and JobTread); keep organized paperwork files for use in loan draws and processing
• Reporting & Analysis: Assist the CFO in generating profit/loss statements, balance sheets, budgeting spreadsheets, change order trackers, and cash flow reports;
• Coordination: Collaborate with general contractors, vendors, project managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pay applications, payments, and draw processing;

Qualifications
• Education: Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or business;
• Experience: 5+ years in accounting/bookkeeping; 3+ years in construction industry;
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks Online Version, and construction accounting software JobTread (will train); strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills ; strong computer skills
• Knowledge: Familiarity with construction accounting concepts and best practices
