Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wash, inspect, peel, trim, and prepare fresh organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients.
Operate commercial juicing equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, nut milks, and other products according to standardized recipes and production procedures.
Measure, portion, and package products accurately.
Label finished products with the appropriate production and expiration dates.
Assist with batching, ingredient preparation, and inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all production areas, equipment, refrigerators, and storage areas.
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble commercial juicers and kitchen equipment after each production run.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
Monitor product quality and report any inconsistencies or equipment concerns.
Assist with receiving and properly storing incoming deliveries.
Dispose of waste appropriately and assist with the company's sustainability and zero-waste initiatives.
Support additional kitchen production needs as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food preparation, commercial kitchens, juice bars, restaurants, or food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
Ability to follow written recipes and standard operating procedures.
Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
