Local ground-up industrial / commercial construction
Lead daily onsite operations for local ground-up industrial and commercial projects.
Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and trades to keep work moving on schedule.
Read and interpret construction plans to identify issues before they become costly field problems.
Ensure trades are sequenced correctly and jobsite priorities are clearly communicated.
Monitor work quality, site progress, manpower, deliveries, and daily production.
Communicate field updates to the office through clear, consistent email and written reports.
Provide timely updates when trades do not show, materials are delayed, or field conditions change.
Enforce jobsite expectations around schedule, workmanship, cleanliness, safety, and accountability.
Help prevent avoidable rework, missed rough-ins, sequencing mistakes, and damage to completed work.
Represent the company professionally with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, tenants, and internal team members.
$80,000–$90,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and strong total compensation package
Total Compensation Opportunity: Company truck, gas card, phone, iPad, PTO, health stipend / benefits support, and project-based completion bonus
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with ground-up commercial, industrial, warehouse, flex space, metal building, concrete, sitework, or light industrial projects.
Experience managing projects in the $2M–$7M range.
Background working with concrete, steel, MEP trades, sitework, paving, utilities, or tenant-ready industrial buildings.
Prior experience in private commercial construction, development-driven construction, or owner/developer environments.
Comfortable working in a practical, field-driven environment where communication is primarily handled through email, documents, and direct updates.


Minimum 5 years of construction field leadership experience.
Experience managing subcontractors, field employees, vendors, and daily jobsite activity.
Ability to read plans and identify practical construction conflicts in the field.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and jobsite logistics.
Proven ability to keep trades accountable and maintain control of daily site operations.
Clear communication skills, including regular email updates and written field reporting.
Reliable, organized, and able to follow through without constant supervision.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally across the Houston market.
