Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 11:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
All Nations Community School is seeking a relational and mission-aligned educator to join our secondary school faculty. This unique part-time position includes opportunities to teach 6th Grade Math, Advanced Spanish, and Drones/STEM.
Our ideal candidate would have the background and versatility to teach all three subject areas. However, we recognize that this is a unique combination of skills and are very open to candidates who are qualified and interested in teaching one or two of these courses. Applicants are encouraged to indicate which subject area(s) best align with their experience and interests.
Teaching Opportunities
6th Grade Math
The teacher will provide engaging, conceptually strong mathematics instruction to sixth-grade students, helping students develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for future coursework.
Advanced/IB Spanish
The teacher will provide proficiency-based Spanish instruction for students who already have significant experience with the language. Instruction should prioritize meaningful communication, authentic language use, and continued development of students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Drones/STEM
The teacher will lead a hands-on drones course that introduces students to drone technology, flight skills, safety, problem-solving, and real-world STEM applications. The ideal instructor will foster curiosity and provide students with opportunities to learn through experimentation, design challenges, and practical application.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in the assigned subject area(s)
Build positive, supportive relationships with students
Differentiate instruction to meet a range of student needs
Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
Maintain an organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership
Communicate effectively with students and families
Participate as a positive and engaged member of the school community

Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate strong content knowledge and the ability to engage middle and/or high school students.
Depending on the courses being taught, preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in education, mathematics, Spanish, STEM, engineering, technology, or a related field
Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth instructional experience
Strong mathematics background for candidates teaching 6th Grade Math
Advanced or near-native Spanish proficiency for candidates teaching Advanced Spanish
Experience with drones, robotics, engineering, technology, coding, or other hands-on STEM programs for candidates teaching Drones
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
A collaborative, flexible, and growth-oriented mindset
Teaching certification is valued but is not necessarily required for candidates who bring strong subject-area expertise and experience working with students.
Schedule & Compensation
The full position encompasses classes scheduled Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Candidates teaching only one or two of the courses would work a reduced schedule based on the class times assigned.
