Job Type: Seasonal Part-time (10 hours per week). Immediate start through Christmas with the possible continuation.

Tuesday: Morning shift starting 9am-2pm
Thursday: Morning shift 9am - 2pm

Job Description: As a Down & Feather Company Associate, your primary responsibility will be to assist with various tasks related to the processing and packaging of down and feather products; specifically the manufacturing of custom, luxury pillows. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read fine print, physical stamina, and the capability to handle weights up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:
Processing and Packaging: You will be responsible for processing down and feather materials, which may include sorting, cleaning, and weighing the products. Additionally, you will assist with packaging the materials, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
Attention to Detail: It is crucial to pay close attention to detail throughout the entire production process. This includes identifying any defects or irregularities in the down and feather products and taking appropriate measures to address them.
Reading Fine Print: Some tasks may involve reading and understanding instructions, labels, or documents related to the products and their packaging. You will need to follow written instructions accurately to ensure the proper handling of the materials.
Standing at Work Station: The job requires you to stand at your work station for extended periods while performing various tasks. You should be comfortable standing and have the physical ability to work on your feet.
Lifting: There will be instances where you will need to lift and move boxes or bags of down and feather products, weighing up to 50 pounds. You must be capable of safely lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Cleaning: Tasks will also include light cleaning and dusting manufacturing facility, warehouse and bathroom.

Additional Information:
Payment will be made on a bi-monthly basis.
This position requires passing a background check and providing references to ensure a safe and trustworthy work environment.
Fluency in the English language is necessary to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.
Closed toe shoes required. No make-up or perfume/colonge.
