Fresh Monkee - The Woodlands is looking for a personable, dependable and self-motivated Community Ambassador to help us build relationships with local businesses, offices, gyms, schools and community organizations.

This is primarily a local community outreach role, not a traditional sales or social-media position. The Community Ambassador will represent Fresh Monkee in the community, visit local businesses and organizations, introduce our menu and services, distribute promotional materials, and share information about group ordering and partnership opportunities.

The role will also help us follow up with businesses and organizations that have already expressed interest in Fresh Monkee, as well as identify and develop new local opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Visit local businesses, offices, gyms, schools and organizations
• Introduce Fresh Monkee and explain our menu, group ordering and partnership opportunities
• Follow up with existing contacts and businesses that have invited Fresh Monkee to visit
• Distribute flyers and other promotional materials
• Identify potential partnerships, group-order opportunities and community relationships
• Maintain simple records of visits, contacts, leads and follow-up opportunities
• Handle simple Facebook and community-group posting
• Occasionally take useful photos or gather information that can be used in Fresh Monkee marketing
• Provide a brief weekly report of outreach activities, results, hours worked and business mileage

The position has a flexible, largely self-managed schedule, but it is a “boots on the ground” role requiring regular local outreach. Most travel is expected to be within approximately five miles of our Fresh Monkee location.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Personable and comfortable introducing yourself to people you don't already know
• Professional appearance and communication
• Dependable, organized and able to work independently
• Takes initiative and follows through without requiring constant direction
• Comfortable representing Fresh Monkee to local businesses and community organizations
• Basic familiarity with Facebook and social media
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and reliable personal transportation
• Sales, hospitality, fitness, events, retail, community outreach or similar experience is helpful but not required

Compensation: $200 per week. Personal vehicle use and mileage are not separately reimbursed.
