College to Host Women’s History Month Celebration
March 26 Event Features Four Prominent Area Women, Music and Fun
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- In honor of Women's History Month, Lone Star College-Montgomery will host a celebration on Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Commons, Building A. In addition to good music and chocolate, the evening includes a meaningful panel discussion featuring U.S. Olympic diver Nancilea Foster, author and life coach Indrani Goradia, attorney and community leader Nelda Luce Blair, and Houston’s Sunny 99.1 radio personality Dana Tyson. Each will provide insight to their experiences, challenges and life lessons, and will also answer questions from the audience.
“We’re excited to bring this event to the community,” said Joseph Maurer, program manager of student activities at LSC-Montgomery. “It should be a fantastic and informative night for those who attend.”
Music will be provided by The Kelley Peters Trio. While the event is free to the community, you can reserve your spot. For more information, contact the LSC-Montgomery office of student activities at 936 273-7082 or visit its Web site below.
