THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) Board Of Directors voted at the October 22, 2015 Board Meeting to endorse both the Conroe Independent School District Bond and Montgomery County Road Bond in the current election. The vote passed with no oppositions and no abstentions.

Gil Staley, CEO of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, said, “Mobility & exemplary education is vital to the continued success of our community. Our existing transportation infrastructure cannot keep up with the growth we have experienced. Additionally, Conroe ISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in the State, with an average enrollment growth of approximately 1,500 students per year. We need this bond to keep up with the exemplary education CISD provides.”

The mission of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership is to be a resource to, and advocate for employers; to facilitate access to information and influence; and to promote job growth and economic vitality in The Woodlands Area.
