The Woodlands properties on Houston's list of most expensive sold

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Two of the most expensive homes sold in the Houston area in 2016 were right here in The Woodlands.

According to the Houston Association of Realtors, two properties in Carlton Woods made the list, both selling between $6.7 million and $7.8 million.

"The Woodlands continues to be a huge contender for the high-end market, competing against other areas nearer Houston that have been recognized for luxury properties in the past," said Beth Ferester of Beth Ferester & Company. "The Woodlands is such a unique and wonderful place to live."

Ferester was the listing agent for the property, located on Grand Regency Circle.

"I'm very excited to see that 2017 is off to a great start for our high-end homes here in The Woodlands and all over Houston," she said. "Being able to work with people moving into The Woodlands for the first time, or moving from one home to another, is the most rewarding job and I have enjoyed living and working here now for 35 years."

The second listing, also on Grand Regency Circle, was sold by Debbie Coleman Ratcliff of Coleman Realty.
