Magnolia High School All-State band finalists

MAGNOLIA ISD -- Magnolia High School band students competed in the Region 9 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) 5A All-Region audition process this past weekend. The band is proud to announce their results.

Jeff Kean, 11th grade, earned 1st chair in the 5A Texas All-State Band. He is the number one tenor saxophonist in the state of Texas for 5A schools.

Jenna Stone, 10th grade, earned 12th chair in the 5A Texas All-State Band. She is the 2nd highest ranking sophomore in the state of Texas for 5A schools.

In addition to their exceptional achievements, Jeff plays percussion in the marching band, lead tenor saxophonist for the jazz band, and plays electric bass while Jenna performs in the Conroe Symphony Orchestra. Both students are principal players in the Magnolia High School Wind Ensemble.

The Magnolia High School Band is under the direction of Mr. Robert Medina.
