AMC Theaters Unveils All New AMC Metropark Square 10 in Shenandoah, Texas

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- For the first time in more than 20 years, movie-lovers in the Houston area can soon enjoy a brand new AMC Theatres (NYSE:AMC) location with the opening of AMC Metropark Square 10 in Shenandoah, Texas. The state-of-the-art movie theatre was built to incorporate all of AMC’s most popular movie-going amenities like AMC Signature recliners, better food and drink options, multiple premium format experiences, including IMAX® with Laser at AMC and Dolby CinemaTM at AMC, and the AMC MacGuffins adult beverage concept.

AMC Metropark Square 10 opens for business on Friday, March 1. Once the theatre is open, moviegoers can expect:

AMC Metropark Square 10 features the IMAX with Laser experience with luxury plush rocker seating. IMAX with Laser combines IMAX’s newest state-of-the-art 4K laser projection and 12-channel sound system to deliver audiences strikingly crystal-clear and vivid images and immersive, powerful sound to suspend disbelief when experiencing today’s biggest blockbusters.

Guests can also enjoy the premium experience of Dolby CinemaTM at AMC, which combines spectacular imaging and moving sound technology, with innovative seating that takes comfort to the next level with AMC’s spacious, power reserved recliners that pulsate with the action of the film. The movie comes alive with an amazingly vivid and realistic image that renders each moment with spectacular impact. And guests will feel like they’re inside the story as the sound flows all around with breathtaking realism.
The enhanced food and beverage menu includes AMC Feature Fare items such as chicken & waffle sandwiches, stone-fired flat bread pizzas, pretzel bites and gluten-free snacks. In addition, moviegoers can enjoy Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which offer more than 120 drink options. And for guests who are at least 21, AMC's popular MacGuffins adult beverage concept, offering beer, wine and premium cocktails for guests to enjoy before, during or after their movie.
