THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Hope Beyond Bridges held their second annual fundraiser on Saturday, November 9, to benefit their unique ministry of helping the homeless. This event called 'Let's Go Glamping Gala' was a huge success and helped raise the needed funds that will sustain this group throughout the year. Hosted by BMW The Woodlands, Hope Beyond Bridges brought together the local community to have fun, bid on unique auction items, sample great local wine and help support a ministry that is impacting The Woodlands and north Houston areas. ABC-13 Eyewitness News Reporter, Ted Oberg was the master of ceremonies. The evening included bidding on great auction items like a trip to Bali, a VIP trip to the 2020 CMA Music Awards show, a 5-star wine country getaway, as well as many other great trips, experiences and sports memorabilia. The event was a great success and this ministry was able to meet their fundraising goals that evening.

About Hope Beyond Bridges

Hope Beyond Bridges is a unique ministry that goes out into the community to help homeless people find what they need in life. Whether it is food, shelter, clothing or just an ear to listen to them, Hope Beyond Bridges positions themselves to build relations, not just give out food. Their mission is to RESTORE hope to the homeless by meeting spiritual, emotional, and physical needs because a bridge is NOT a home. Started by David Droll, Hope Beyond Bridges' goal is to reach every major highway around Houston outside of the 610 Loop, to Restore hope and help individuals believe their future will tell a better story and to engage with other organizations who offer services to help the homeless when hope has been restored. Hope Beyond Bridges works with many churches and other Christian organizations and has served over 84,400 meals, has provided these services continually every week for an amazing 550 consecutive Saturdays and has given out over 95,000 hygiene kits. Hope Beyond Bridges serves the homeless right where they are, under the bridges around Houston. Every Saturday, volunteers and community partners provide basic necessities to the homeless they meet: giving them a hearty meal, clothing and hygiene kits. But they don't just feed their basic physical needs, they feed their spirit. Through shared prayers and conversation, they build trust. They build relationships, one meal and one prayer at a time.

How you Can Help

Hope Beyond Bridges is always looking for support through individual volunteers as well as church partners. They are also looking for financial support to continue funding this ministry.
