Kristen Bates Promoted to Senior Associate Attorney at The Strong Firm

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Bret L. Strong, founder and managing shareholder of The Strong Firm P.C., has announced the promotion of Kristen Bates to Senior Associate Attorney.

Bates joined the business law firm in 2017 as an Associate Attorney, after years of practice at a Houston boutique law firm, specializing in representing lenders and financial institutions in real estate and bankruptcy matters. Her practice areas of focus include real estate, commercial disputes, and business law and contracts. Bates represents the legal needs of businesses, banks, mortgage servicing companies, lenders and borrowers in all aspects of financial matters both from a transactional perspective as well as a litigation and dispute perspective.

She earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University.

Bates was recognized among “Super Lawyers – Texas Rising Star” in Consumer Law 2015-2019. Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the Houston Bar Association, The Woodlands Bar Association, Houston Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers, and Houston Young Lawyers Association and Foundation. She is currently a member of the 2020 class of Leadership Montgomery County.
