Who killed Edwin Navarro?

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Murder.

On Monday, May 4, 2020, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Edwin Navarro was shot in the 800 block of Jefferson Street in Houston, Texas. During the incident, Mr. Navarro was walking with a group near the intersection of Jefferson Street and Travis Street. The group got into an altercation with another group of males that were in a vehicle at the intersection. A fight ensued between the two groups. After the fight was over, the victim’s group began to walk away and the other group got back into their vehicle. Suddenly, the suspect vehicle approached the victim’s group and someone inside opened fire. The victim fell to the ground after being hit by the gunfire. The vehicle fled in an unknown direction of travel. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The family of Edwin Navarro is requesting the community's help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible for his murder.
