Up, up and Away to the Texas Renaissance Festival Heroes & Villains Themed Weekend

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The festival season continues with a clash of mighty heroes and villains!

WHAT:

Who will triumph in the dangerous battle between good and evil? The epic Texas Renaissance Festival season continues with a Heroes and Villains theme Saturday, Nov. 6 – Sunday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Join the festival for a weekend full of adventures, packed with the mightiest of heroes and heroines as they clash with the darkest of villains and vixens from history and legend. Attendees will also have the chance to show off their alter egos in the Heroes and Villains costume contest!

Test your hero skills in a Quest for the Holy Fail, a two-hour pub crusade spanning five alehouses around the festival. Or, if your superpower is eating, accept the challenge of winning the gyro eating contest held at New Market Music Gazebo. All heroes and vixens can battle in new festival attractions and interactive experiences, such as wine tastings, escape rooms and Royal Scotch tours throughout the kingdom.

Ticket sales to the 2021 Texas Renaissance Festival are date specific and can be purchased on the website. Saturday, Nov. 6, tickets cost $27 for adults over the age of 13, and $22 for adults Sunday, Nov. 7. Tickets for children ages 12 and under are half-price on Saturdays and free on Sundays. General admission tickets purchased at the gate will cost $34 for adults on Saturday and $27 for adults on Sunday.

Texas Renaissance Festival

The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest Renaissance event. Each year over 450,000 patrons enter through the gates of the festival into a 16th Century European Village where performers immerse you in the enchantment of the village that feature 21 stages of music and stage acts, 400 shoppes, artisans, and a world tour for the taste buds that of course include turkey legs!

The Texas Renaissance Festival is located one hour north of Houston. 2021 TRF season dates are Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 9 – Nov. 28, including Thanksgiving Friday.
