Well Known I - 9 Owner Opening Indoor Athletic Facility for Pickleball, Volleyball, and Basketball

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Local I-9 owner, Scott Read, is familiar with working in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. Read is an athlete himself and understands the needs of the community. Recently, he felt there was not only a need to expand access to sports, but to also help some of the underserved in the area. He has worked with several churches in the area to provide sport time. Read has also hired Nathan Barnes as General Manager to work with groups and leagues.

Read located a facility in Magnolia, on the boundary of The Woodlands and has opened an indoor, climate controlled facility catering to pickleball (the fastest growing sport in the nation), basketball, and volleyball. Read indicated that it is always difficult to find gym space and with the opening of the facility, it adds an additional 3 pickleball courts and several vollyball and basketball courts. He has also identified other communities and hopes to expand the concept.

This facility will house leagues, adult pickleball lessons and leagues, tournaments, and more. The facility can be schedule for private events or sports team building.

There will be a Grand Opening and Open House on Friday, May 6th from 7pm to 10pm. The facility will be available for open pickleball play during the open house. There will be free food and beverages. For more information contact: woodlandsindoor@gmail.com
