Trucker’s hasty turn causes Fatal Crash, Jury awards 10 Million

Wham & Rogers represented the parents of a 21-year-old college student killed by a side underride collision with an owner operated 18-wheeler. Side underride crashes, which occur when a smaller vehicle crashes into the side of heavy truck, are among the deadliest types of collisions.

The jury awarded the parents $9 million dollars and awarded another $1 million to the decedent’s estate.
Ten million dollars was awarded to the parents for a non-economic wrongful death of an adult child in San Jacinto County.
