Buy The Book announces its Oct/Nov events

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Buy The Book, a women-owned and family-owned bookstore, announces its upcoming events for October and November 2022.

Located in the Grogans Mill neighborhood at 25162 Grogans Park Dr, Buy The Book offers new and used books, as well as unique gift items. The bookstore spotlights local authors as well as local artisans with specially created displays.

Buy The Book is committed to promoting literacy while offering the community a place to gather and providing a space for creativity and expression.

Upcoming Events:

• Storytime - every 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month at 10:30 a.m.
• Arts and Crafts Class – every 4th Monday at 6:00 p.m. (ages 16 and up)
• Art Trading Card Class – every 2nd Monday at 6:00 p.m. (ages 16 and up)
• Collage Art Class – every 1st Sunday at 2:00pm and every 3rd Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
• Writing Critique Class – every 1st Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (all writers welcome)
• Writing Workshop – every 3rd Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (all writers welcome)
• Spooky Science Classes (Oct 14, 21, & 28) at 10:00 a.m. (open to Middle School – High School age)
• Open Mic - Poetry and Spoken Word (Oct. 12 and 28) at 6:00 p.m.
• Halloween Party and Costume Contest – Sunday Oct 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Author Event – Saturday November 5, at 4:00 p.m. - Meet authors:
• David Slayton (Reading The West Award Winner) introducing his new book Deadbeat Druid
• Hank Schwaeble (Bram Stoker award winner) introducing his new book Moonless Nocturne

Buy The Book invites the community to participate in any or all of their events. The shop also features an event room that is also available for rent for private events as well.
