THE WOODLANDS, TX – Described by The Woodlands Chamber as “The No. 1 networking golf tournament in The Woodlands”, the November 14 Putt, Pass, and Chip Golf Championship has proved once again to be a great community event for local businesses to market themselves, network with other local companies, and have a great time in the process. Putt, Pass, and Chip is over 20 years old and since 2016, the event has been a football-themed golf tournament, with players experiencing mulligans and bubba drives being replaced with a football toss, yellow flag, and first down. Hosted at The Woodlands Country Club’s beautiful West/North Course, guests participated in enjoyable extra golf fun with the popular “Putting for Proof” to kickstart the morning and the “Wheel of Misfortune” event greeting them on the 18th hole.

There were numerous opportunities for chamber members to market themselves. Every member was allowed to add promotional items to the 120 player bags. Sponsorships were offered for each hole as well as various parts of the event. Corporate teams allowed for networking opportunities throughout the golf championship. This anticipated annual event combined the love of playing golf with the love of serving the community.

J.J. Hollie, President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce said of the event, “We enjoyed having so many golfers, sponsors, and volunteers come out to support the Chamber and make true connections to build the community!”
