This is the week where we shift from winter to spring, and the warming weather is tagging along. There are so many amazing events happening this week that it was difficult to pin down just five, so be sure to check out our entire events calendar to see what else is shaking!

Thursday, March 23
Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting
, presented by Food & VIne Time Productions, is back for the third time, taking place this evening at The Woodlands Country Club. If shots at college bashes and weddings or house margaritas at your favorite Mexican restaurant are the extent of your experience with Tequila, the organizers think it’s high time you get educated. At the Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting, industry experts will be on hand to guide, educate and share their passion with attendees about all things tequila. Join this all-inclusive experience including great eats, music, Tequila Forum Seminars, H-E-B Gourmet Nacho Bar, craft tequila, mezcal, sotol, charity party wagon raffle benefiting The Woodlands Arts Council, craft beer, and great fun. Tickets are $45 per person ($50 at the door) and are all inclusive of food, music, Tequila Forum Seminar and tequila/mezcal tastings served both neat and batched. Sip and Savor.

Thursday - Saturday, March 23 - 25
The South Montgomery County Friends of the Library
’s annual book sale will be held the week of March 20, 2023 in the South County Community Center (2235 Lake Robbins Drive) and in the South Regional Branch Library (2021 Lake Robbins Drive) in The Woodlands. Dates and times are as follows: Thursday, March 23 – First Choice Night, $5.00 Donation (with purchase) 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.; Friday, March 24 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 25 – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and $2.00 Bag Sale 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year Children’s books will be shown in South library, in the large meeting room on the first floor. All other books items will be shown in the Community Center. We will have a wide variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, hardback, and paperback in multiple categories, as well as DVDs. They also have a large assortment of children’s and young adult books.

An American music legend is coming to Dosey Doe - The Big Barn tonight
. Inducted into both the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2018, awarded the National Medal of Arts by President Trump, and credited by Chet Atkins as ‘single-handedly saving country music,’ Ricky Skaggs will take the stage with his band Kentucky Thunder. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a delightful dinner. Then at 8 o’clock, enjoy being in an acoustically perfect venue without a bad seat in the house and rock along with this icon.

Bring the family out to the Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo
at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds for Concert Weekend. You won’t want to miss out on the CPRA and youth rodeo action, Fair Queen crowning, live music, and more! Tickets are $10 online or $15 at the gate for ages 12 and older; kids ages 5-11 are $5, and kids under 5 years are free. General Public Parking is $5.00 (onsite cash only).

, happening both days this weekend at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, is a lifestyle event showcasing the latest trends in interior design, outdoor living, and custom home building ideas.
