HS Baseball Playoffs: The Woodlands Shutout Rockwall to Force Game 3

WACO, TX -- The Woodlands faced Rockwall once again on Friday night in the Regional Semifinals at Baylor’s Baseball field. Rockwall took the first game in a back and forward battle but in the end, Rockwall knocked one run in in extra innings.

With the momentum on Rockwall’s side, The Woodlands needed a quick lead to slow the pace of Rockwall’s offense. And that they did, as they knocked in 6 runs in the first inning.

Brayden Sharp was on the mound for The Woodlands and with the help of Holifield pitched a no hitter. With the huge lead in the first inning, The Woodlands kept the momentum and took the second game 8-0 and tied the series up 1-1.

They will battle it out tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon at 2pm to see who moves on to the Regional Finals and who’s season ends.
