Thursday, November 16
Spruce it up at the holiday sip-and-stroll event at the Spruce Market, the latest upscale boutique inside The Woodlands Resort. Attendees are invited to have a glass of wine and meet the local makers, artisans, and designers as they bring out their holiday items for a fun shopping experience. In addition to meeting the makers, guests can enjoy a local’s discount; simply present your driver’s license with your Woodlands area zip code and receive 10% off at any time. Featured local makers include Honey&B Candles, Florvino Wines, Smenes, Interfaith The Woodlands My Hometown Collection, Monarca Boutique, Winfield’s Chocolates, Texas Olive Oils, and much more.
Thursday, November 16
Get a head start on the ice and join The Strong Firm P.C. at the exclusive VIP Preview Party at The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center. This year all proceeds from ticket sales, and any additional collected donations, will go 100% to YES to YOUTH - Montgomery County Youth Services. Donation receipts will be available at the event. Come support YES to YOUTH and have a great night of food, skating, and festivities to kick off the holiday season as the first to skate on the ice before the rink opens to the public.

The 21st Annual Junior League of The Woodlands Holiday Market is a shopping extravaganza event that will feature over 120 unique merchants from across the country selling specialty holiday items, home accessories, clothing, gourmet foods, jewelry, and much more. You can begin your holiday shopping early and even have time left over to buy yourself something special. Holiday Market is held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The Holiday Market Preview Party is Thursday, 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. and the Market itself runs Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Strollers are welcome Friday and Saturday after 2:00 p.m. and all day Sunday. The Lighting of the Doves Festival is a long-standing tradition in The Woodlands that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community. Symbolizing peace during the holidays, the ceremonial illumination of the giant doves has attracted thousands of visitors each year. The Festival includes traditional and international performances, showcasing the cultural diversity of The Woodlands and holiday traditions celebrated around the world. Featuring snow play areas, vendor booths, children’s activities and strolling entertainment, Lighting of the Doves culminates with a special appearance by Santa Claus arriving by sleigh down The Woodlands Waterway and a dazzling fireworks display.
Sunday, November 19
It’s time to take a trip down memory lane in style as Dosey Doe - The Big Barn presents the smash musical revue Oh What a Night - A Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. You’ll jump, jive, and wail at this incredible reenactment of one of the premiere rock legends ever. Show up early as the kitchen is serving a delicious full-course dinner as part of your ticket price.
Because of the holiday season that’s getting stuffed with events like a turkey, here’s an honorable mention for the week!
