MONTGOMERY, TX -- Now in its 10th year, Johnson Development’s annual home tour will showcase 34 model homes and more than 160 available homes in the North Houston communities of Amira, Grand Central Park, Jubilee and Woodforest this April when the “Best of the Burbs” home tour begins.

Model homes priced from $300,000 to nearly $1 million will be open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays during the tour. Admission is free.

“It’s incredible to think that we’ve been hosting this home tour — arguably Houston’s largest — for 10 years,” said Christen Johnson, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Johnson Development. “Throughout the years, we’ve easily opened the doors to more than 1,000 model homes and thousands of available homes in a variety of architectural styles, showcasing the fantastic mix of homes you can find in a Johnson community. Across all 13 of our beautiful Houston-area communities, there truly is something for everyone.”

Amira is a 554-acre community in Tomball just north of the Grand Parkway. Builders Beazer Homes and Perry Homes will have six model homes and more than 40 available homes open during the home tour. Amira is being developed by Johnson Development Services, an affiliate of Johnson Development Corp. Details can be found at www.amiratexas.com.

Grand Central Park in Conroe has nature as its focal point with authentic hiking trails, expansive natural lakes and wooded serenity. Builders will have eight model homes open for touring in the 2.046-acre community with another 30 available homes also on the tour. Numerous businesses and restaurants have now opened in City Central in Grand Central Park, including the Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel & Convention Center. The community will host an Artisan Market featuring dozens of local vendors 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Visit www.grandcentralparktx.com for more information.
Also participating on the tour will be Jubilee, Johnson Development’s newest community to begin home sales. The 1,622-acre community — located in Hockley just south of Highway 290 and a few miles from the Grand Parkway — will have eight model homes on the tour. Visitors to the new model homes can learn more about Jubilee, which is centered on holistic wellness. From street design to amenities to standard features builders will offer in their homes, wellness has been a consideration of every facet of Jubilee’s development. Approximately 20 available homes also will be open for touring. Visit Jubilee 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4, for the Joy Fest grand opening celebration. For more information, visit www.liveinjubilee.com.

The 3,000-acre Woodforest is located seven miles west of Interstate 45 in South Montgomery County. With 15 model homes and approximately 70 available homes on the tour, Woodforest also boasts a growing commercial district, with dozens of new restaurants, shops and other businesses now open in Pine Market. Celebrating 15 years of home sales, Woodforest is approaching close-out with fewer than 400 opportunities remaining for a newly built home. For details, visit www.woodforesttx.com.

A new Johnson Development community in the north Houston area, Kresston, will have homes on next year’s tour. Now under construction, the 1,400-acre community anticipates home sales to begin in early 2025. Kresston is located north of Magnolia with frontage along State Highway 249 and FM 1486. Access to the Aggie Expressway will make Kresston an option for people who work in College Station, The Woodlands, Tomball and other areas of greater Houston. Learn more at www.kresston.com.
