Wholly Thursday – a list of events on apparently the busiest day of the year so far
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Any regular reader of Woodlands Online knows we start off each week with a Top 5 list – frequently ‘super-sized – of events in and around The Woodlands. However, it seems as if the stars have aligned for one particular day, this Thursday, October 17, resulting in a myriad of events too numerous to squeeze into a weeklong list.
Fortunately, Woodlands Online has your best interests at heart, and has put together a list of all the things available for you to do and enjoy this Thursday. And – believe it or not – even this long list only covers a fraction of what’s happening this day and evening. Here we go!
Afternoon Tea at the Tea Kettle Cafe
A British tradition that involves having a light meal of tea, sandwiches, scones, and small desserts in the afternoon. It is served on a tiered cake stand and can accommodate 2-4 guests per tier. The menus include delectables such as sandwiches, scones, mini desserts, and tea. Throughout October, the Wizard Afternoon Tea Menu has extra, mystical-themed goodies. Note that they require reservations by telephone only 24 hours in advance for afternoon tea.
