Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Charges Three Juveniles in $214K Vandalism Spree at Harrington Trails and Pinewood Communities

NEW CANEY, TX -- Over the past month, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating multiple incidents of vandalism involving flooding and destruction at newly constructed homes within the Harrington Trails and Pinewood communities. The total estimated damage caused by these incidents is approximately $214,474.00.

On Friday, September 12, 2025, deputies responded to a call reporting suspicious individuals in the area. Upon arrival, deputies located two juvenile males matching the description of suspects connected to the vandalism cases. Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene to conduct further interviews and investigations.

Follow up investigations led to the identification and questioning of a third juvenile male believed to be involved. The Montgomery County Attorney’s Office accepted charges against all three juveniles for Second Degree Felony Criminal Mischief.
