January Youth Basketball Leagues in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Youth basketball in The Woodlands continues to grow, and families now have access to a highly structured, high-quality developmental league designed specifically for young players. Registration is officially open for the January Youth Basketball Leagues with Coach Deon, offering divisions for boys and girls ages 6–14.

The January season provides a focused, four-week developmental experience led by Coach Deon, known across the area as The Woodlands’ Most Dedicated Coach. His program emphasizes teaching, confidence, footwork, and strong fundamentals — creating an environment where kids learn the right way, improve quickly, and gain real game experience.

The league includes multiple divisions tailored to age and skill:

Girls Young Ballers League
• Starter Division (Ages 6–7)
• Rising Division (Ages 8–10)

Boys Young Ballers League
• Starter Division (Ages 6–7)
• Rising Division (Ages 8–10)

Girls Select League (Grades 5–8)
A fast-paced, fundamentals-based league for girls preparing for junior high basketball.

Boys Elevate League (Grades 5–6)
Focused on skill development, decision-making, and team play.

Boys Inspire League (Grades 7–9)
Designed for players who want to compete at a higher pace and develop the habits school coaches expect.

Each league session includes structured practices and games, giving athletes a true developmental experience — not just open play. Parents appreciate the organization, the emphasis on fundamentals, and the character-building approach that anchors every program.
