Multi-Agency Operation Leads to Arrest of Sexual Assault Suspect

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On January 15, 2026, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit and Gang Unit successfully assisted Harris County Sheriff’s Office Detectives in the apprehension of a wanted fugitive.

The suspect, identified as Jose Quintanilla, was located and arrested on two outstanding warrants for Sexual Assault of a Child.

The coordinated effort between the two agencies allowed units to safely track Quintanilla’s location. He was taken into custody without incident and subsequently transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail for processing.
