Performing arts microgrants invest $43,000 in arts access across Montgomery County
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – In partnership with The Woodlands Arts Council, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of the Performing Arts Microgrants, awarding almost $43,000 to support innovative fine arts initiatives across Montgomery County. Across the 2024, 2025 and 2026 grant cycles, the program has invested nearly $130,000 in performing arts education and community access.
These grants reinforce The Pavilion’s mission to elevate arts access and education by empowering schools, nonprofits and community organizations to bring high-quality artistic experiences to students and residents. Funding supports a wide range of creative projects including music instruction, performance opportunities, equipment enhancements and expanded arts programming that enriches the cultural fabric of the community.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, in conjunction with TWAC, is honored to support the following organizations whose performing arts projects will enrich arts education and community access throughout Montgomery County:
- Caney Creek High School
- The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra
- Patterson Elementary
- Conroe High School
- Young Texas Artists
- The Woodlands Chorale
- College Park High School Choir
- Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy – Theater Program
- Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy – Drum Line Program
- Buckalew Elementary
- The Woodlands Diversion
- Travis Intermediate School Choir
