Montgomery County Man Arrested in Porter Child Sexual Assault Investigation, Faces First-Degree Felony Charges

PORTER, TX -- On January 16, 2026, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) responded to a residence in Porter, Texas, in reference to a sexual assault of a child investigation. Upon arrival, patrol units secured the scene and requested assistance from the MCSO Special Victims Unit (SVU).

Following an extensive on-scene investigation and the execution of multiple search warrants, with assistance from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, SVU detectives obtained video evidence depicting the sexual assault of a 2-year-old child. The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Victor L. Corey Paillet III.

Victor Paillet was arrested and charged with Promotion of Child Pornography and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, both first-degree felonies. Paillet was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where he is currently being held with no bond.

Investigators have learned that Paillet has ties to the Houston area and Louisiana and may be known by the aliases “Kandy Red” and “Kandy Red Bread.”

Based on information obtained during the investigation, detectives believe there may be additional victims. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding Victor Paillet or any related sexual offenses to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-538-3474, and reference case number 26A017864.
