City of Oak Ridge North announces police department leadership transition
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The City of Oak Ridge North recently announced a leadership transition within its police department.
"Effective immediately, Lieutenant Marcus Teske has been appointed Interim Chief of Police," said representatives in a statement. "Lt. Teske brings more than 20 years of dedicated service with the City of Oak Ridge North Police Department, having served in multiple leadership and operational roles throughout his career."
Lt. teske holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Sam Houston State University. His experience, institutional knowledge, and commitment to the community will ensure continuity of leadership and ongoing public safety services.
"The City of Oak Ridge North remains committed to community-oriented policing and to maintaining strong, positive relationships with residents, businesses, and neighborhood partners. Under Lt. Leske's leadership, the Police Department will continue to emphasize approachability, professionalism, and shared commitment to keeping Oak Ridge North a safe and welcoming community," concluded the statement.
