MCSO was honored to join the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for the 2025 Vehicular Crimes Awards

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that we have been named the DWI Agency of the Year at the 2025 Vehicular Crimes and Public Safety Awards Hosted by the Montgomery County District Attorney’ s Office!

This incredible recognition highlights the commitment, teamwork, and dedication our deputies show every day to keep our roads safe from impaired drivers.

We’re also extremely proud to celebrate:

• Deputy Jason Alvarez who received the Exemplary DWI Officer Commendation
• Deputy Jason O’Niell who received the Officer of the Year for the third year in a row!

It was an honor to stand alongside some of the best in law enforcement: DPS, Conroe PD, Precinct 2 Constable David Eason, Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, and Splendora PD as we celebrated our shared mission of keeping Montgomery County’s roadways safe.

A heartfelt thank-you to District Attorney Mike Holley and Chief Prosecutor Taylor Vanegas for hosting such a meaningful event and honoring the dedication of those serving our community every day.
