Tuesday, March 3
The Woodlands Institute for Health & Wellness, run by Mila McManus MD, is hosting guest speaker Dr. Ruth Roberts with a workshop titled ‘Spay-Neuter Syndrome in Pets.’ Discover how early spaying/neutering in pets can trigger a cascade of health issues – from joint problems to anxiety – and learn practical steps you can take today to help your pet thrive despite these challenges.

Business After Hours is a complimentary social, presented by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, providing you with opportunities to meet, mingle, and build relationships with other area business professionals. Business After Hours rotates to different Chamber Member business locations monthly, and this month will take place at Dave & Buster’s on Metropark Dr. in Shenandoah. Reservations are required; the event is complimentary for Chamber members and only $20 for guests.

Game On: The Art of Sports Photography is a hands-on sports photography workshop sponsored by Precision Camera that is designed to help photographers capture the speed, intensity, and emotion of athletic competition. Participants will learn how to anticipate action, freeze fast-moving moments, and tell compelling visual stories from the sidelines. The workshop covers essential techniques such as camera settings for motion, focusing strategies, positioning, and composition, along with tips for working in different lighting and game environments.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum’s Shadow Puppet Theatre, taking place at 11:00 a.m., presents “What Am I?: Texas” by Anne Margaret Lewis. Children will learn what makes Texas special, from the cowboy to the armadillo, in this “What Am I?” format. This is the perfect story to celebrate the Lone Star State. Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older. Shadow Puppet Theatre is an introduction to storytelling elements that allow our readers and audience to interact directly with each other.

It’s Rodeo season in the great state of Texas, and Chick-fil-A Magnolia (at 6543 FM 1488 Rd) is roping in the fun with a yeehaw-worthy community celebration you won’t want to miss. They’re pulling out all the stops and inviting the whole town to kick up some dust with them from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for an evening packed fuller than a Texas fairground, featuring Magnolia Fire Department with fire truck tours, a petting zoo for all our little cowpokes, balloon animals and face painting, Chick-fil-A giveaways and plenty of smiles. So grab your boots, bring the family, and come hungry for fun.

Brighton Academy is hosting a free Spring Carnival Open House – actually, two of them, as both locations (Gosling Rd and Falconwing Dr) are partaking. This special event is open to the public and designed for families to play, explore, and make wonderful memories together. Current Brighton families are warmly invited to step inside for the Open House – a chance to see your child’s incredible growth and progress throughout the year and celebrate all they have accomplished. Families interested in learning more about Brighton are welcome to enjoy live campus tours and meet-and-greets with the team, making it the perfect opportunity to explore our classrooms, connect with staff, and experience our community firsthand. 8th Annual Spring Montgomery County Home & Outdoor Living Show is taking place both days this weekend at the Lone Star Convention Center. This show helps you to find home goods, seasonal decor, artisan furniture, products and the right professionals for any type of home improvement or DIY project you have. Create your dream home with their home improvement professionals. Saturday (one day only) is the Children’s Entrepreneur Market from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., empowering children through entrepreneurial experiences to learn business techniques. Bring the kids to shop at a market for them while you walk through the show! Expect to see over 40 vendor booths with items made by children participants without adult involvement. Best of all, this show has free admission.

Concert in the Park is a beloved Sunday tradition where friends and neighbors come together under the open sky to relax, laugh and listen to great, live music.
