Wanted Alert- Jose Ignacio Venegas Nieto

MONTOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking Jose Ignacio Venegas Nieto, a 35-year-old Hispanic male. Nieto has a tattoo on his left forearm with the name “Lilian.”

Alias: Fernando Rodriguez

Nieto currently has two active warrants for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and is a person of interest in more than 15 high-end burglary of habitation cases targeting gated communities throughout Montgomery County.

Investigators believe Nieto operates as part of an international organized crime ring responsible for a series of burglaries across the United States, with more recent burglaries occurring in Southeast Texas and surrounding areas.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continues to work closely with local, state, and federal partners to locate Nieto and his known associates.

If you see Nieto, call 911 immediately. Do not approach or attempt to detain this individual.
