Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators Arrest Multiple Wanted Fugitives

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- This week, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators, deputized as Task Force Officers with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, successfully apprehended several wanted fugitives.

Among those arrested were 32-year-old Patrick Meroney, wanted for Felony Possession of Visual Material Depicting Sexual Assault – Child; and 36-year-old Demario Stewart, wanted for Felony Assault FV – Impeding Breath.

Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office commends the professionalism and precision of its SWAT Operators for safely bringing these individuals into custody. These successful arrests reflect more than a decade of strong partnership with the United States Marshals Service, working side by side to ensure fugitives are brought to justice and our communities remain safe.
