With more than 20 years of experience leading international and domestic deals, he offers a practical, business-minded approach, shaped by his background as in-house counsel for a Houston-based investment bank and as managing partner of a full-service transactional firm. Clay delivers creative, efficient counsel, helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence, whether they are launching a new venture, navigating growth, or executing high-stakes transactions.

Clay advises businesses across the full lifecycle, including entity structuring and formation, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, debt and equity offerings, and private equity transactions. He also regularly drafts and negotiates a broad range of commercial agreements.

Clay earned his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law Houston in 2006, his M.B.A. from Texas A&M University in 2005, and his B.A. in History from Texas A&M University in 1998.
