THE WOODLANDS, TX – The office of Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler has given an update on local road projects.

“While we continue to advance a wide range of projects across Precinct 3, we are especially proud to highlight the progress made through the voter-approved road bond. These improvements are a direct result of your support, and we are grateful for the opportunity to deliver meaningful upgrades that enhance mobility and safety throughout our community,” said Wheeler in a statement.

Projects of particular note include:

  • 24 asphalt road stabilization and pavement replacement projects
  • Approximately 27.2 lane miles of new asphalt pavement road surface
  • 11 asphalt shoulder replacement projects
  • 9 intersection improvement projects
  • 27 concrete road rehabilitation projects
  • One median adjustment project on Lake Woodlands Drive

“26-plus miles of roadway now include new asphalt shoulders in both directions, improving safety for drivers,” said Wheeler.
