THE WOODLANDS, TX -- With patios filling up and spring events in full swing, Lankford's The Woodlands is leaning into the season with a series of community-driven events throughout May that could make for a timely roundup or weekend guide.
The lineup begins Friday, May 1, with live music from Paul Frias from 7 to 10 p.m., followed by a Kentucky Derby watch party on Saturday, May 2, featuring specialty cocktails and a Derby-inspired menu, including a hot honey chicken sandwich, with races shown across the restaurant’s seven screens.
For Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday, May 5, Lankford’s is offering a $20 taco plate and margarita special. The plate includes two crispy beef tacos, a bean tostada and a chile con queso tostada topped with lettuce and tomatoes.
Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10, will include a “Mom’s Eat Free” promotion, a complimentary pour of sparkling wine and an on-site pop-up with Gold + Grace from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering permanent jewelry during brunch.
Additional events include Botox and Bubbles on Tuesday, May 12, from 3 to 6 p.m., and an American Craft Beer Week collaboration from May 15 to 21 with Lucky 19 Brewing, featuring a takeover of the restaurant’s 12-tap beer wall highlighting local brews.
