Wine & Food Week presents the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase June 6

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Wine & Food Week, brainchild of Food & Vine Time Productions, has announced the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase, which has been touted as one of the most spectacular wine and culinary events in the country, will take place on June 6 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.


The event is billed as a culinary extravaganza for the decadent taste bud enthusiasts. Attendees will enjoy chef demonstrations and culinary offerings from 35 restaurants competing to be the winner of the Chef of Chefs Culinary Awards, as voted by an esteemed panel of judges. Featuring hundreds of wines, the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase presents guests with the opportunity to slip into their finest attire and be in the company of serious wine enthusiasts and outstanding culinary talent.

At the closing ceremony, the winner of the Chef of Chefs Culinary Awards will take home the Chef of Chefs trophy and $5,000 cash prize. The serious wine enthusiast will want to upgrade to the Bayway Cadillac VIP Luxury Lounge, featuring crème de la crème wine selections for discerning palates that are offered in swank surroundings within a private lounging area. VIP Luxury Lounge ticket purchasers will be able to rub elbows with Wine & Food Week special guests, celebrities, media, and food judges throughout the evening.

Cocktail attire is encouraged for this event, which is open to people aged 21 and up. All food and beverage tastings are included in the ticket price. General admission tickets are $150, Bayway Cadillac VIP Luxury Lounge tickets are $200, a private table for eight costs $1,575, and a VIP Private Table costs $2,500.

The 2026 Esteemed Judges include Phaedra Cook, Founder, Editor, Lead Creator for Houston Food Finder; Tristen Epps, Owner of Epps & Flow Culinary LLC; Nancy Manlove, Chef; Bao Ong, Restaurant Columnist for the Houston Chronicle; Brent Hurter, Chef at H-E-B; Carlos Ramos, Owner/Chef at Latin Bites; Katie Stone, President of The Cleverley Stone Foundation; Jeremiah Tallerine, Chief Executive Officer of Bravado Spice; Laura Landsbaum, Digital Media Editor for PaperCity The Woodlands; and Sunil Srivastava, Executive Chef/Owner of Verandah Progressive Indian Cuisine.
