THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Broadcasting Texas proudly announces the inaugural Piney Woods Film Festival on June 11 – 13 at Lone Star Montgomery College, 3200 College Park Drive in Conroe, TX. It’s a three-day celebration of bold, independent cinema bringing together filmmakers, artists, students and the community. Programming also includes panel discussions, live music events, VIP mixer and a Red-Carpet Awards Ceremony. Tickets are on sale now and include free entry to The Red-Carpet Awards Ceremony. “This festival is about more than just films, it’s about building community through the arts, giving voice to storytellers and offering a place where people can step away from the everyday and experience something meaningful, entertaining and inspiring. This is our moment to support the arts locally and we invite all to come. · Special Preview: A debut clip from the George Mitchell story, created as part of The Woodlands’ 50th Anniversary celebration – offering a first look at this important local legacy project.
