Multi-Agency Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrests and Seizure of Drugs and Firearms in Willis Area

WILLIS, TX -- On April 30, 2026, the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET), in coordination with the Montgomery County SWAT Team, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search warrant in the Willis area following an extensive narcotics investigation that has been ongoing since 2025.

This long-term investigation reflects the diligence and collaboration of multiple agencies working together to identify and dismantle illegal drug activity within Montgomery County.

As a result of the search warrant, investigators seized a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and weapons, including:

• 6 firearms
• 7.3 pounds of marijuana
• 1.2 kilograms of methamphetamine
• 239 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
• 500 grams of Farmapram
• 146 grams of THC vape products
• 26 grams of counterfeit pills

Julie Martinez, age 43, and a 17 year old were both arrested in connection with this case. Both were charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 2, 4G<400G).

This case highlights the continued commitment of The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and its law enforcement partners to proactively target and disrupt the distribution of illegal narcotics in Montgomery County. Through detailed investigative work and strong interagency cooperation, dangerous drugs and firearms were removed from our community.
