Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators Arrest Multiple Wanted Fugitives

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- This week, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators, deputized as Task Force Officers with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, successfully apprehended several wanted fugitives.

Among those arrested were 21-year-old Kyren Welch, wanted for Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance Causing Death; 39-year-old Chance Hussey, wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Sexual Assault of a Child, and Conspiracy to Commit Possession of Controlled Substance; 24-year-old Lmykal Hick, wanted for Resisting Officer and Aggravated Flight from Louisiana; 33-year-old Effron Williams, wanted for Indecent Exposure; and 43-year-old Edward Clark III, wanted for Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance.

All suspects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

These successful arrests reflect more than a decade of strong partnership with the United States Marshals Service, working side by side to ensure fugitives are brought to justice and our communities remain safe.
