MONTGOMERY, TX -- Award winning artist Celeste Marie Wilson released her new single, “Willow” on May 1, and her first full length album will be released August 2026 Southern American Princess through producer Jim Reilley, known for his collaborations with the legendary Hal Ketchum and Vince Gill.

Celeste Marie has always been interested in music and storytelling. During her high school years, she performed in musical theatre and on stage with Children’s Youth Theatre, a local nonprofit. While attending Sam Houston State University, Wilson continued her music classes and started writing children’s literature. As a writer she joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and attended a National Conference in New York. Her writing talent caught the eye of publishers, but unfortunately timing is everything and writers were on strike. This stopped movement on a book deal, so Wilson turned to creative songwriting to tell her story through music. The ability to tell a story through singing music seemed to be the best combination of both her talents!

As an indie singer-songwriter, Celeste Marie is a Josie Award winner and International Songwriting Competition semi-finalist, and she is the girl writing the song you didn't know you needed to hear. Recently a finalist in the Great American Songwriting Contest for her track, “If I Sin for You,” her music is described as warm, honest, and a little dangerous, like your third shot of whiskey or Delta Blues Grit. No filters. No formulas. Just Texas in her bones and a guitar that says everything she means.

The young songwriter is especially proud of her new single, “Willow” that portrays Texas country girl sass with sisterhood, perseverance, and resilience.

“Writing feels like breathing to me,” says Wilson. “To take my stories and bring them to life with music is a dream.”

Based in the Montgomery, Texas area, Celeste performs live country and roots rock music at venues, festivals, and events across Texas and beyond. After performing in Nashville for the 11th Annual Josie Awards, she headed back to the Lone Star State with the same fire. As a powerhouse storyteller/songwriter, Celeste Marie’s high energy fusion delivers the heart and soul of a mix of country/rock/Americana grit to over 81.2 million streams across all platforms.

Wilson has performed at the House of Blues (Houston/New Orleans), Cheatham Street Warehouse, Dosey Doe, Nashville’s 3rd & Lindley, Howlin’ Wolf, and The Red Brick Tavern. As a songwriter, Wilson was a semi-finalist in the 2026 International Songwriting Competition, was awarded the Story Enhanced Video of the Year at the 10th Annual Josie Awards in 2025, and 3rd place overall at the Texas State Songwriters Competition in 2025.

The Women Songwriters Hall of Fame and Awards Show will take place June 13, 2026, in Washington D.C. Celeste Marie is one of 20 songwriters to perform at the venues. As mentioned, her first full length album will be released this summer in August, and an Extended Play in December. Watch for a little edginess and Texas Sass from the girl who is confident she will persuade you to listen and hear her story.
