MCSO Investigates Homicide on Beeson Rd in Conroe, TX

CONROE, TX -- Today, May 25, 2026, at approximately 5:20 a.m., MCSO Dispatch received a 911 call from a residence on Beeson Road reporting that a family member was threatening others in the home with a firearm. Shortly thereafter, an additional 911 call was received reporting that an individual had crashed a vehicle nearby.

The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Michael Levi Flores, fled the initial scene and subsequently wrecked his vehicle a short distance away. Responding MCSO patrol units located Flores, who resisted arrest and engaged in a physical altercation with deputies. Non-lethal weapons were deployed to gain compliance from the suspect. No deputies were injured during the incident.

Additional deputies responded to the original residence on Beeson Road, where they discovered a deceased female with an apparent gunshot wound, identified as 50-year-old Jana Flores, the suspect’s mother.

Michael Flores was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and will be booked into the Montgomery County Jail upon release by medical staff. He remains in custody and will be charged with Murder.

MCSO Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Preliminary investigations indicate this is an isolated incident involving family members. There is no threat to the public
