The Woodlands Women’s Collective Hosts “Prom Night” Fundraising Gala Benefiting In Her Corner Foundation
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Women’s Collective hosted Prom Night: A Collective Fundraising Gala on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Ivey Manor Wedding and Event Venue, bringing together women from The Woodlands and surrounding communities for an elevated prom-inspired night in support of In Her Corner Foundation.
The gala aimed to raise awareness and critical funding for In Her Corner Foundation’s community work. Through ticket sales, sponsorships, raffle entries, silent auction participation, and additional donations, guests came together to support the organization’s mission of empowering young girls through mentorship and community connection.
By the end of the evening, the event raised more than $6,000 to benefit In Her Corner Foundation. Approximately 140 guests attended, with additional support provided by local businesses, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who helped make the evening possible
“Prom Night was created not only as a fundraiser, but as a celebration of friendship, community, and womanhood. The event gave women the opportunity to enjoy a fun night out while supporting a meaningful cause. By combining nostalgia, connection, and philanthropy, the evening reflected the Collective's mission of creating spaces where women feel welcomed, celebrated, and connected,” said Alana Strong, Owner and Founder of The Woodlands Women’s Collective.
“Prom was wonderful. The Woodland's Women's Collective has been nothing but supportive of In Her Corner. I am grateful for the special connections we have been able to build with such amazing women,” said Scarlet, Founder of In Her Corner Foundation. “We are different organizations but still have a similar mission of encouraging and building up the women around us. When TWWC brought this idea to us, we loved it. Prom is already so nostalgic, especially in the way community comes together and how each person chooses to express their best self. It was such a natural blend and similarly overlap of how we create space and pour into the next generation of young women.”
Prom Night reimagined the traditional prom as a modern, 21+ gala, encouraging guests to dress in prom attire and celebrate for a cause. The evening featured:
· DJ and dance floor all night
· Complimentary drinks throughout the event
· Cocktail-style bites and dessert table
· Photo booth and themed photo moments
· Tattoo artist and interactive experiences
· Silent auction, raffle, and fundraising moments supporting the mission
Event highlights included guests winning exciting raffle and auction prizes such as a luxury suite experience with the Space Cowboys, diamond earrings from Penn Diamonds, and numerous offerings from local businesses. The evening also featured the crowning of a Prom Queen and Prom King, a packed dance floor with music from the DJ throughout the night, interactive photo opportunities, and a live tattoo artist who donated a portion of her proceeds to In Her Corner Foundation. Auction and raffle proceeds totaled $2,729.20, helping further support the organization's mission.
