THE WOODLANDS, TX -- July 1, 2026, members of the Spring Creek Chapter, NSDAR, were delighted to host a “Crafts with DAR” patriotic children’s craft program at the Kevin Brady Library in The Woodlands.
Jessica Holland, Jamie Swearingen, Jane Herberich, Kristi Boehm, and Toni Carbone assisted 112 children in creating patriotic sticker crafts and coloring sheets featuring a tricorn hat and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In addition, each participant received an America 250! chapter bookmark.
This was a fun and successful event as we continue celebrating and educating our community about America’s rich history and the upcoming 250th anniversary of our nation.
