Woman Arrested at The Woodlands Mall with Stolen Credit Cards, Mail, and Postal Arrow Key

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On July 29, 2026, Deputies with the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) were conducting proactive operations at the Woodlands Mall. Plainclothes deputies identified a female engaged in potential criminal activity and conducted a traffic stop as she left the location.

During this traffic stop, deputies located multiple credit cards, mail, and identification belonging to several victims, along with a postal "arrow" key used to open community mailboxes.

The suspect, identified as Caitlin Hale, was arrested and charged with Credit Card Abuse, Credit Card Abuse of the Elderly, and Unlawful Possession of a Postal “Arrow” Key. Deputies are working to notify any additional victims and banking institutions of the compromise of their personal information
