Taste of Conroe Coming in September
CONROE, TX -- The Downtown Conroe Association (DCA) is preparing for a new event, Taste of Downtown Conroe, allowing the community to sample signature bites from local restaurants and food trucks in the downtown area on Tuesday, September 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Timberline Crossing, located at 109 Metcalf St. in Conroe.
To date, the DCA has 14 participating downtown restaurants offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy tasting bites from Historic Downtown Conroe's favorite dining destinations, all under one roof.
"Taste of Downtown Conroe is more than just great food. It's about bringing our community together, supporting the incredible restaurants and small businesses that make Historic Downtown Conroe special, and creating an event that highlights everything our downtown has to offer," said Jason Franklin, President of the Downtown Conroe Association. "The inaugural event is just the beginning of what the DCA hopes will become an annual tradition where people can experience amazing flavors, connect with friends and neighbors, and see firsthand why Historic Downtown Conroe continues to be one of the most vibrant destinations in our community."

It's been rewarding to see that vision come to life and to now be part of the growing restaurant community here."
Nonprofit partners joining the event include Meals on Wheels sampling their new catering menu and the Montgomery County Food Bank with information on volunteering, food drives, and most needed donation items in the area. Please consider donating hot/cold cereal, canned beans, macaroni & Cheese, pasta, rice, canned tuna or chicken, canned fruit, 100% juices, peanut butter, or granola bars at the event.

"We're excited to be part of the inaugural Taste of Downtown Conroe because it's a chance to showcase not only GuadalaHARRY's, but everything that makes Historic Downtown Conroe such a special destination, including the entertainment, shopping, live music, and, of course, a great meal," said Harry Keyser, owner of GuadalaHARRY's Bar & Grill.
