Woodlands area restaurants partaking in Houston Restaurant Weeks
THE WOODLANDS, TX – A half-dozen local area eateries are participating in the 23rd Houston Restaurant Weeks event, taking place this year August 1 - September 27. This popular culinary extravaganza benefits Houston Food Bank, for whom it has raised $22 million resulting in 66 million meals.
“The Houston Food Bank is so grateful to again be the beneficiary of Houston Restaurant Weeks. The funds raised by this event are more critical than ever, at a time when food banks are experiencing both funding cuts and increased need in the community. Thank you to Katie Stone and The Cleverley Stone Foundation for sustaining Cleverley’s legacy of dining out and doing good,” said Brian Greene, President/CEO of Houston Food Bank.
For the 38 days of the event, patrons and diners can enjoy delicious meals and super deals raising necessary funds for the Houston Food Bank, courtesy of participating restaurants that will serve specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus for brunch ($25), lunch ($25), or dinner ($39 or $55), available for dine-in and take-out.
