36 professionals chosen for Lone Star College System’s Leadership North Houston Class XXXII

HOUSTON, TX -- Leadership North Houston (LNH), Lone Star College System's premier regional leadership development program, has selected 36 professionals representing 16 industries for Class XXXII. The incoming cohort will begin the 10-month program in September, joining a network of more than 850 alumni who are helping shape the future of the North Houston region.

Founded in 1995 through a partnership between Lone Star College System and area chambers of commerce, Leadership North Houston brings together established and emerging leaders from business, education, government, health care, nonprofit organizations, and other sectors to strengthen leadership capacity, foster regional collaboration, and build lasting professional relationships.

"Every class brings a variety of viewpoints and professional experiences to the table, and that's exactly what makes Leadership North Houston so valuable," said Kay Fitzsimons, LSCS executive director, Leadership and Economic Development. "Over the course of the program, participants build meaningful relationships and develop a shared understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our region. They leave with a stronger network, broader perspective, and an even greater capacity to lead and serve their communities."

Participants engage with regional leaders while exploring issues that shape the North Houston region, including economic development, health care, education, government, public safety, and quality of life. Leadership development is woven throughout the experience through sessions led by Jon Kidwell, founder and CEO of Leadwell, who provides practical strategies to help participants lead with greater confidence, strengthen relationships, and create lasting impacts within their organizations and communities.

The program officially begins with Orientation on Sept. 3, followed by the Leadership North Houston Alumni Reunion and Class XXXII Welcome Reception that evening at Sawyer Park Icehouse.
