Spring Man Alfonso Aguilar Arrested in Family Violence Strangulation Case

SPRING, TX -- On August 7, 2026, deputies with Constable Ryan Gable’s Office responded to a reported family violence assault at a residence in Spring, Texas.

During the investigation, deputies learned that Alfonso Aguilar allegedly assaulted a person by applying pressure to their neck that impeded breathing and then fled the scene. The victim was examined by hospital personnel, who documented injuries consistent with the reported assault.

Following a review of the initial investigation, Pct. 3 detectives established probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Aguilar for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation, a third-degree felony.

On August 10, 2026, detectives located Aguilar at a hotel in The Woodlands, where he was taken into custody without incident. Aguilar has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
